Thirty-five employees of Snowcap Lumber will be without work, as the Abbotsford company is closing its doors on June 29.

It’s been a record-breaking 2011 for Tradex. The trade and exhibition centre, located at the Abbotsford International Airport, is experiencing its busiest year on record with a booking capacity of 93 per cent. Last year, the facility boasted a 91 per cent capacity. “The industry average is 48 per cent,” said Vali Marling, the director of operations, sales and marketing for Tradex.
