The inaugural KidSport Abbotsford Charity Golf Tournament is now less than six weeks away, with the debut event set for June 14 at Abbotsford’s Fraserglen Golf Course.

The tournament is a fundraiser event to support youth in Abbotsford.

KidSport Abbotsford helps provide funding towards sport registration fees for those who are having affordability challenges.

In 2023, KidSport Abbotsford was able to help 136 kids/families, which is just shy of $50,000. They stated that the need continues to grow in Abbotsford.

Those interested can register as a team or individual. It costs $125 for a solo player or $500 for a team of four.

Tee times begin between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with a dinner and awards set for 5:30 p.m.

Those interested in participating or sponsoring the event can visit kidsportcanada.ca/british-columbia/abbotsford/events/golf-for-kids for more information.
