Peter Karl, passed away peacefully at his home on May 6, 2004 in Abbotsford after his courageous 17 month battle with cancer. Born July 21, 1942 in Prussia. Predeceased by his father, Valentin Kramer in 1944 and his father-in-law, Johann Weisskopf in 2002. He will be deeply missed by his family; wife Eva; daughters, Jessica (Matt) Germaine, Sabina (Chris) Kyba; his "little sunshine" grandson Carson; mother, Anne-Marie; mother-in-law Elisabeth Weisskopf; brother-in-law, Hans Weisskopf; brother and sisters, Harald, Sigrid and Karin and many other extended family in Germany.
Many thanks to his doctors over the past months; Dr. R. Pankrantz, Dr. J. West, Dr. G. Lewis, Dr. R. Sweeting, Dr. Morrison, Dr. M Liu, Dr. King at the Cancer Clinic, Dr. J. Chan and staff and the homecare nurses Anita and Janet.
Peter was a contractor in the lower mainland for over 30 years and he will be fondly remembered for the love of his work, his family and his friends.
Upon Peter's request, a private graveside service will take place. Peter's love of life will be celebrated with an open house for family and friends at his home on Friday,May 14th from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to a charity of your choice.
