Malcolm Graham WILLOCK

Malcolm Graham Willock, born March 26, 1944, passed away on December 17, 2006 at Mission Memorial Hospital. Mac will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Carol; children Cynthia (Dan) McLachlan, Scott (Amanda) Willock, Andrew (Cindy) Willock, Chris (Jenilee) Willock and eight grandchildren. Also by his ­brother Vern (Wanda) Willock, ­sisters Margaret (Bob) Wayne, and Colleen (Terry) Wright, numerous nephews and nieces and ­chosen family members Gerri and Chantelle Robertson. Mac worked as a cowboy in the Walhachin area, then was a logger on Vancouver Island for 10 years before following in his father’s footsteps as a CPR Bridge Tender for Mission Bridge where he worked the next 30 years. During this time he spent many of his holidays fishing salmon on gillnetters.

A Celebration of Mac’s life will be held Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 am, at Northside Community Church, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Road, Mission with Pastor Ron Redekop officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Mission Hospice or Samaritan’s Purse.
