Gail EWONCHUK

December 11, 2005

Gail Ewonchuk passed away peacefully at M.S.A. Hospital on Dec. 11, 2005 at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her sons Mark (Lisa) and Don (Diane) and two grandchildren.

Gail was born in Winnipeg on Aug. 27, 1938 - moved to British Columbia in 1966.

Gail made vintage collector dolls - many people who have one of her dolls will have a treasure for ever.

She loved her job - teaching First Aid. Many, many of her students have gone on to work in the medical field saving lives. She loved her job, but Gail loved to make quilts. Many people (especially children) slept warm and snuggly under one of the quilts she so generously donated to people in our community over many years. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends.

Celebration of Gail's life will be held Dec. 16, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 3717 Squamish Cres., Abbotsford. All her friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Fireman's Burn Fund or Matsqui Police Fund. Special thanks to the nurses on the 2nd floor for all the wonderful care you took of our beloved friends.
