Anthony “Slim”
Born July 9, 1921 and passed away June 4, 2007 with his loving wife Doris by his side.
Slim was predeceased by his first wife Delma in 1988, brother Lawrence and sister Margaret.
Surviving family members are Âsister Dorothy and brothers Alfred (Doreen), Peter (Kay) and Leonard (Meredith); daughter Laurel (Peter); grandson Troy, daughter Cindy (Jim); grandsons Ben and Dustin; stepchildren Stephen (Dianne), Dan, Ken (D’Arcy), John (Helen), Dianne (Warren), Doreen (Jerry); 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Slim was proud to have served with the 1st Canadian Paratroops Battalion. He also enjoyed many summers at the Shuswap with family and friends.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at M.S.A. Hospital for their kindness and help, and a special thank you to Cara for making Slim’s last hours peaceful.
He will be remembered and missed by all who were lucky to have known and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Gladwin Heights United Church, 3474 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
