Anne Christina (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, BC on January 10, 2004 at the age of 87 years.
The daughter of Hanna Elizabeth and Robert Conrad Johnson of Hardisty, Alberta, she was predeceased by her parents, brothers Robert and Gustav and sister Myrtle.
Anne is survived by Max, her loving husband of 57 years, daughter Susan and son Brent, 3 grandchildren, Kirk, Danny and Mitchell, sister Gladys of Burnaby, BC and many nieces and nephews.
Her dear brother Julius Johnson of Ponoka, Alberta passed away January 11, 2004.
Anne was a dedicated teacher with a career that spanned many years. From her first position in a one-room schoolhouse at Crickeldale,Alberta, her passion for education never faltered.
We will remember Anne as a strong and loving woman, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Her gentle spirit continues to nuture those who loved her so dearly.
Special thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at The Cottage Extended Care Facility in Abbotsford where Anne resided for the past few months.
A memorial service was held at First Memorial Chapel in Aldergrove, BC on Wednesday, January 14th.
