It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alwin on March 11, 2024. Born April 7, 1922 near Main Center, Saskatchewan.
Alwin married Katie Regehr in 1946 and they set up a farm in Matsqui. In 1958 they moved the family to Mission where he worked in the Post Office.
Alwin loved the Lord and was involved with church work for many years.
Survived by his wife of 77 years, Katie, and his children Eleanor Barr (Ralph), Don (Shirley) WIebe, Dolores Sawatskey (Les), Marilyn Reidiger (Les), Stan (Tilly) Wiebe and Sharon.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
The Celebration of Life was held March 19. Donations can be made to Multiply (formerly MB Missions).
