Abe Konrad passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 98. He grew up in Peace River country in Alberta, where he met Mary (Wiens). They were married almost 68 years, pastoring Mennonite Brethren churches in Alberta, Ontario, Manitoba, and BC, including nine years at King Road Church in Abbotsford.
Abe is predeceased by his daughter Edith, and grandson Dominic; his siblings Henry, Elizabeth, Jake, Hulda, and Dan; and his wife Mary.
He is survived by sisters Helen and Irene; sons Alfred, Ernest (Tia), Wilfred (Angela), Wesley (Valerie) and Chester (Pauline); as well as 13 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral: King Road Church, Friday, April 19, 11 a.m. All are welcome.
