Application for a Permit Amendment Under The Provisions of the Environmental Management Act
We, Quadra Wood Products Ltd., intend to submit this amendment application to the Director to amend Permit, PA-10660, issued May 5, 1992 which authorizes the discharge of air emissions from a lumber re-manufacturing plant. The land upon which the facility is situated and the discharge occurs is Lot 6 of Northeast 1/4 of Section 3 Township 16, New Westminster District Plan 44328, located at 34371 Industrial Way, Abbotsford, BC. The amendment requests that the following conditions be changed from One Discharge Location (One Cyclone) Max Discharge: 250 m3/min; Duration: 8 hours/day; Frequency: 6 days/week, Monday to Saturday; Maximum Concentration of Particulate Matter: 120 mg/m3. to Two Discharge Locations (Two Cyclones) Max Discharge: 250 m3/min (Cyclone #1) and 700 m3/min (Cyclone #2); Duration: 8 hours/day; Frequency: 6 days/week, Monday to Saturday; Maximum Concentration of Particulate Matter: 120 mg/m3. Any person who may be adversely affected by the proposed amendment and wishes to provide relevant information may, within 30 days after the last date of posting, publishing, service or display, send written comments to the applicant, with a copy to the Regional Director, Environmental Protection at #200-10470 152nd Street, Surrey, B.C., V3R 0Y3. The identity of any respondents and the contents of anything submitted in relation to this application will become part of the public record.
