Abbotsford police are investigating a serious single vehicle accident on Ash Street near Green Avenue.
Police said a 17-year-old female suffered serious injuries when a car hit a utility pole around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Two other people were transported to hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Initial reports suggest wet conditions and slippery pavement were factors.
Multiple units of the Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service, BC Ambulance and Abbotsford Police responded.
The area was closed to traffic for several hours to allow APD collision reconstructionists to investigate.
