Three men are in custody and facing charges after shots were fired into a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Abbotsford.

Police say they were called to a report of a verbal dispute and shots being fired in the 34100 block of George Ferguson Way just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.

No one was injured, but when police arrived, they found a vehicle in a driveway with bullet holes.

Witnesses said they saw a truck flee the area after the gunshots were heard.

Abbotsford Police have now arrested two suspects, while Langley RCMP arrested a third man, along with a vehicle believed to be involved.

APD Sgt. Judy Bird said police are recommending "firearms-related charges" against the men.

A motive for the shooting is not yet known, she said.

Bird said the incident is not believed to be connected to the Townline Hill conflict, although it is thought to be targeted.
