Car flips onto roof during two-vehicle collision

Crash takes place Wednesday afternoon in Abbotsford

A crash Wednesday afternoon in Abbotsford resulted in one car ending up in a front yard and another flipping onto its roof.

The collision took place just after 1 p.m. in the area of Peardonville Road and Center Street.

Const. Ian MacDonald said witnesses reported to Abbotsford Police that a driver in a Chevy Spark was travelling west on Peardonville when the driver of a southbound Chevy Colorado truck pulled out from the stop sign at Center Street to make a left turn to head east.

The two cars collided, resulting in the smaller vehicle rolling over. Neither driver was seriously injured.

The Abbotsford Police Department is continuing to investigate.
