Around 1,800 BC Hydro customers were without power Friday morning as high winds continue to sweep through the Fraser Valley.
Power outages have been reported west of Highway 11 – along Gladwin, Downes and Townshipline Roads – and in a large swath of Sumas Prairie between Campbell Road and the border. Another outage has been reported in the Orchard Road area and blamed on a tree down across hydro lines.
BC Hydro says one outage has been solved, with crews working on others.
We've restored customers affected by this outage in #Abbotsford. Crews still on site for others in area. https://t.co/R4HwzlGU9r
