Edo Japan is growing across Canada and is now ready to help Abbotsford “honour the crave” with delicious made-to-order meals at its newest location in the High Street Shopping Centre, 3122 Mount Lehman Rd., with additional locations recently opened in Mission and Langley to serve the Lower Mainland.

At Edo Japan, it’s all about delivering a one-of-a-kind taste that stands out, when it’s time to grab the kids for some fuel on the way to recreational activities. It’s also for delicious lunches for the team at the office, snacks to power those study sessions, or a date night before hitting a movie. Signing up for an Edo Cash™ rewards account and downloading the Edo app makes ordering even easier.

Visitors at the new Abbotsford location are immediately met with the sights, sounds and smells of Japanese-inspired cooking techniques. Find photos of this fine cuisine on the Edo Japan Instagram. The teppanyaki-style of food preparation features a 450°F teppan grill that sizzles and sear with flavour. Edo’s diverse menu features the original best-sellers like Teriyaki Chicken or Sukiyaki Beef, a variety of veggie-filled rice and noodle bowls, bento boxes, ramen soups, hand-rolled sushi and side and snacks like gyoza or spring rolls.

Always made-to-order and highly customizable, no meal is complete without a thirst-quenching beverage – including Mango Bubble Tea, Brown Sugar Boba, Passion fruit Green Tea, or a selection of all the top fountain drinks. And of course, Edo’s signature teriyaki sauce is always front and centre with customers deciding whether the day calls for “one scoop, two scoops, or three scoops”.

The craveable menu continues to evolve under seasoned Chef Daryl Paradis, Edo’s corporate chef, who has more than 20 years of experience working with some of Canada’s most notable restaurants.

“Our entire menu offering is designed to completely satisfy our customers’ craving for delicious, hot and fresh meals made right in front of you,” says Chef Paradis. “Whether it’s a lunch dash, the end of a long day, or in between shuttling kids to activities, our menu has something for every taste and every occasion.”

Edo is quickly becoming a trusted favourite as it grows across Canada. With more locations planned in BC in 2024, Edo is providing local entrepreneurs and employees with a great opportunity to join a winning team. The brand was recently recognized in the Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Awards of Excellence in the ‘Franchising in the Traditional 30-99 Franchisees’ category for demonstrating superior franchisee relations, leadership, training, and communications.

“We’re proud and humbled by the overwhelming response from customers as we look to expand our offering in the Lower Mainland,” says Terry Foster, Edo Japan vice president of operations and franchising. “We have built our name on serving freshly prepared and delicious food that truly satisfies. Thanks to our growing and dedicated franchise network, we are delivering on that promise every day.”
