Several activities slated for Youth Week, May 1 to 7

The Abbotsford Youth Commission is holding a number of activities in celebration of Youth Week from May 1 to 7.

The activities are open to youth ages 12 to 18. They take place:

– May 1 – Cake Boss Wars from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Matsqui Recreation Centre (MRC);

– May 2 – URoc Awards and Community Appreciation Ice Cream Social from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC);

– May 3 – 3-on-3 basketball tournament from 7 to 10 p.m. at Yale Secondary;

– May 4 – floor hockey with the Abbotsford Police Department from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ag-Rec Building;

– May 5 – $2 skating from 6:45 to 8 p.m. at MRC;

– May 6 – Dodgeball Mania from 8 to 10 p.m. at ARC; and

– May 7 – $2 swim from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at ARC and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at MRC.
