The Abbotsford Quilters’ Guild (AQG) presents “Quilts in the Valley” on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 at Tradex in Abbotsford.
The show will feature more than 400 quilts and quilted objects, as well as a boutique, a large merchant mall, Quilts of Valour, challenge quilts, demos, children’s activities and two raffle quilts.
The AQG, which has been in existence since the mid-1980s, last held the show three years ago, and the event is its major fundraiser for the next three years until the next quilt show.
AQG donates about 350 quilts per year to hospitals and charities in Abbotsford and Mission.
Quilts in the Valley runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Cost is $8. Children under the age of 12 and husbands are free.
