A fitness and social program for Punjabi-speaking people living with any form of early-stage dementia is seeking participants in the Abbotsford area.

Minds in Motion, an Alzheimer Society of B.C. program, provides gentle exercises followed by social activities designed to be enjoyed in pairs.

It’s open to area residents with early-stage dementia and will be conducted in Punjabi. Care partners must attend.

The program runs on seven Wednesdays, from May 15 to June 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m at Matsqui Recreation Centre, 3106 Clearbrook Rd. Masks are optional.
