Archway Community Services in Abbotsford has received a $1,000 donation from CLAC (Christian Labour Association of Canada) as part of the union’s Building Communities program.

The organization was nominated for the gift by Rajni Monga – a member of Service, Health, Manufacturing and Allied Workers Union, CLAC Local 501 – who is employed by Bethesda Christian Association and Communitas Supportive Care Society.

Archway is a non-profit social service agency that was founded in 1969. It provides more than 90 programs to the community, including supports to new Canadians, food banks, a Meals on Wheels program, and employment programs.

“This donation will go toward our programs to continue to serve our community’s most vulnerable,” Monga said.
