The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Abbotsford holds an event titled It’s All About the Heart on Friday, Feb. 19.
The event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Phoenix Lounge (33780 King Rd.) and includes a red dress fashion show, appetizers served throughout the evening, and information about heart health.
Speakers will be nutrition coach Janet Vink, who discusses how to incorporate exercise with health eating; acupuncturist Lara Tisseur, sharing the benefits of alternative medical therapy choices; Dr. Marlyce Friesen on heart disease; and psychologist and author Theresa Nicassio, who talks about “Living from the Heart.”
