The grad class of Abbotsford Schools of Integrated Arts (ASIA) – Sumas recently made a donation to the Abbotsford Food Bank.
The students donated a shopping cart full of food, which they collected during a haunted house they held at Mt. Lehman Community Hall.
The event raised money for their graduation activities, but the students also wanted to give something back to the community.
Admission to the house was $7 or $5 with a non-perishable food item. Out of the small graduating class of 42, 35 participated in organizing and running the event.
