VIDEO: Abbotsford Pilots Teddy Bear Toss

Pilots fans donate toys to Salvation Army

Abbotsford Pilots fans let the teddy bears fly at MSA Arena on Friday.

The junior hockey club hosted its annual Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by the Salvation Army.

Fans could bring a stuffed animal or toy to the game, and when the Pilots score their first goal could throw the item on the ice. The toy would later then be donated to a local family in need for the holidays.

The Pilots managed to score at 12:16 of the first period to give fans the chance to toss.
