A popular Mexican food establishment is expanding to east Abbotsford.
Mucho Burrito, which currently has one location in Abbotsford at Highstreet Shopping Centre, will be opening up another location soon off of Marshall Road near No Frills and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.
Mucho Burrito claims on their website that all of its food is made fresh and is free of artificial preservatives, fake flavours and artificial fat substitutes.
Its menus consists of Mexican favourites such as burritos, tacos, quesadillas and carb-friendly bowls. The restaurant also creates its own salsa and guacamole.
The Canadian brand has expanded significantly in recent years, with locations in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island the Okanagan. Langley, Surrey, Delta, Port Coquitlam, Burnaby and Vancouver all have locations.
Mucho Burrito also has locations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland. There are more than 100 establishments across the country.
The social media reach for the brand is also quite strong, with nearly 30,000 likes on Facebook and over 3,000 followers on Instagram.
It’s unclear when the east Abbotsford location will open up, but based on reporter observation it will be sometime in 2021.
