Restaurant announces closure on its Facebook page, no reason given

Moxie’s Grill and Bar in Abbotsford is now permanently closed.

The establishment announced the news on its Facebook page on Friday, thanking its patrons for their loyalty over the years and urging them to visit the restaurant’s other locations.

Located at 32760 Simon Avenue, Moxie’s opened in Abbotsford in 2012.

The Facebook page had over 1,300 likes and had a ranking of 4.3 out of 5. The Moxie’s Abbotsford Instagram page was fairly inactive, with the last post occurring in 2014.

The closest Moxie’s location for Abbotsford fans of the restaurant is in Langley.

It’s unclear why the Abbotsford location closed, but many businesses, particularly restaurants, are struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.
