Dave Zibrik worked overtime to win the Vancouver Golf Tour's Ledgeview Classic on Thursday.

Zibrik and Ryan Williams both carded matching two-under 68s to finish atop the professional leaderboard, but Zibrik, a PGA of Canada Class A teaching pro, prevailed in a playoff.

Phil Jonas, a Surrey pro who earned a European Senior Tour card earlier this year, and Langley native Adam Cornelson were tied for third at 69.

Nick Taylor was the top Abbotsford finisher, shooting a three-birdie, four-bogey 71 to tie for eighth at his home course.

Other winners included Yves Bisson (championship flight), Ryan Combs (Flight A) and John MacKenzie (Flight B).

HADWIN MAKES CUT IN SAO PAULO

Adam Hadwin made his first cut in four starts on the Web.com Tour, but a rough final round cost him at the Brasil Classic in Sao Paulo.

The Abbotsford golfer entered Sunday's action tied for 12th, but shot a five-over 76 to sink down the leaderboard to 60th. Hadwin finished the event at three under par.
