Crossfit athletes from all over Western Canada took over Abbotsford Centre on Saturday and Sunday for the annual Fraser Valley Throwdown event.

Male and female competitors, in several different age and skill levels, hit the floor in a number of different strength and endurance testing events.

Individual winners included: Anthony Gnoato and Nick Tunzi (competitive male), Amanda Smith (competitive female), Theron White (masters men 39 to 44), Jen Dillinger (masters women 39 to 44), Scott Tasaka (masters men 45 plus), Annie Tasaka (masters women 45 plus), Rick Read (recreational male) and Rachael Hoogendoorn (recreational female).

Pair winners included: My Name A Jeff (competitive male), The Misfits (competitive female), Wodding Crashers (recreational male) and Female Fight Club (recreational female).
