Owls defeat California team 104-92 in semi-final to advance to Saturday's final



The finals are set for the 2017 Snowball Classic basketball tournament, and for the first time since 2014 it will be an all-Canadian affair.

The Kelowna Owls defeated California’s Rolling Hills 104-92 to advance to Saturday’s final. The other semi-final saw Walnut Grove defeat Burnaby South 88-59.

Other winners on Friday included: Brentwood College, Yale, MEI and Killarney.

Kelowna and Walnut Grove tip-off at 8 p.m. at the Abbotsford Secondary School gym.
