Equestrian dressage kicked off on Friday at the Abbotsford Exhibition Centre for the Abbotsford 2016 BC Summer Games.

Through figure eights, circles, canter, and trots, the riders demonstrated control over their horses, as well as the mutual respect and care shared between rider and animal.

Natasha Holscher has unofficially been awarded the gold medal, with Shaylene Hawkins bringing up a close second.
