The Abbotsford Heat host the Toronto Marlies on Friday, searching for their sixth straight win and (possibly) the top spot in the AHL's Western Conference.
The Heat are coming off a 3-2 shootout victory over the San Antonio Rampage.
They are currently one point back of first-place Grand Rapids with 19 points. A Saturday win would move them ahead of Grand Rapids, who is idle tonight.
