The 8th Annual CheerFest Championships took place on Saturday, February 3 at the Abbotsford Centre.
The championship was a 13 hour event that ran from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The event was put on from the help of volunteers, administrative staff, coaches and athletes.
This year’s CheerFest featured over 1,200 athletes and 100 different teams.
Teams included were high schools, prep teams, all-star level teams, and world bids.
Local Valley Stars Cheer Athletics team was the host of the championship event.
