Ruky Abdulai, who competed in the long jump at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, headlined the list of winners at the Valley Royals’ annual awards banquet.
Abdulai won the Brit Townsend Trophy for outstanding athlete in the senior division. Other outstanding athlete winners included Django Lovett (junior), Alex Siemens (youth) and Hannah Konrad (junior development).
