The University of the Fraser Valley athletic department is set to host a series of youth sport camps in the month of August.
Cascades summer camps help kids excel in their athletic pursuits while having serious fun, and this year's camp offerings include girls soccer (Aug. 22 to 26), boys basketball (Aug. 22 to 26) and girls volleyball (Aug. 29 to Sept. 1).
Girls soccer runs at Abbotsford Exhibition Park, with basketball and volleyball occuring at the Envision Athletic Centre on the UFV campus.
The camps will feature expert instruction from UFV varsity head coaches, with assistance from current Cascades athletes, alumni, and/or community coaches.
UFV head coaches Rob Giesbrecht (women's soccer), Adam Friesen (men's basketball) and Mike Gilray (women's volleyball) will be running the camps in their respective sports.
