UFV Cascades launching golf tournament to benefit student-athletes

The new tourney will take place in June at the Chilliwack Golf Club, home course for UFV’s golf teams

The University of the Fraser Valley athletic department will host its first annual Cascades Scholarship Golf Tournament on June 24 at Chilliwack Golf Club.

The tournament will serve as a key fundraiser for UFV’s varsity teams, and 100 per cent of net proceeds will go to support student-athlete scholarships.

Tickets are $200 each, or $750 for a team of four, and includes golf, dinner, prizes, and all on-course activities.

For more info, email Steve Tuckwood, UFV director of athletics and campus recreation, at steve.tuckwood@ufv.ca.
