Twisters win more medals

Fresh off a successful B.C. Games, Twisters athletes continued their momentum at the 2016 Surrey Classic Invitational from March 4 to 6.

Locals earning medals were:

Ethan Ikeda (Elite Three): gold in floor, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars, horizontal bars and all-around.

Jeremy Filiatrault (Provincial 4 U13): gold in all-around, silver floor and rings and bronze on pommel horse, vault and parallel bars.

Trent Johnson (Provincial 4 U13): gold medals in floor, pommel horse and horizontal bar, and silver in all-around.

Logan Isfeld (Provincial 4 U13): silver in pommel horse and bronze in rings and parallel bars.

Michael Frew (Elite Four): bronze in parallel bars.

Brogan Neufeld (Provincial Four): silver in vault.

Kyle Machibroda-Ames (National Open): gold in rings and horizontal bars, silver in floor and all-around, and bronze in pommel horse.

Elijah Horner (National Open): gold medal in vault and bronze in floor and rings.

At the Carol Lenz Memorial, Kennedy Fast won gold in vault, and bronze in floor and all-around.
