Abbotsford's Nick Taylor is heading into the fourth round of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions at in 27th place at minus-4.
Hideki Matsuyama and Jimmy Walker lead the 34-player field, which comprises those golfers who have won on the PGA tour over the past year.
Taylor started the tournament strong, shooting a four-under round of 73. But he fell off the pace over the next two days. After shooting even on Saturday, he scored one-under during an up-and-down third round that featured two outstanding shots, a 66-foot chip into the 11th hole from a green-side bunker.
"That's one of the best bunker shots I've seen on the year," quipped a PGA Channel commentator following the shot.
Taylor tees off for his fourth round later on Monday at 11:10 a.m.
