Fraser Valley athletes are piling up the medals on the second day of competition at the BC Summer Games in Abbotsford.
The team tops the standings with 49 medals on Saturday morning: 17 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze.
Fraser River, made up of athletes from Surrey, White Rock, New Westminster, Burnaby and the Tri-Cities, are not far behind, though. That group has secured 47 medals so far (19 gold, 18 silver, 10 bronze). Vancouver-Coastal has taken 37 (13 gold, 12 silver, 12 bronze.)
