Valley Attack Field Lacrosse is hosting a practice and registration session on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Mouat Field.
Players are asked to bring their gear, and parents must bring their child's care card and birth certificate, proof of residence and full payment for the season. The under-eight age group costs $190 for the season, and all other levels are $245.

ROLLER DERBY BOUTS ON SATURDAY
The Mainland Misfits Roller Derby League is hosting a pair of bouts at the Ag-Rec Building on Aug. 31.
The event features the Anarchy Angels vs. the Vancouver Island All-Stars in the opener, followed by the Vancouver Murder vs. the Red Deer Dreadnaughts.
Tickets are by donation. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the first match set for 6 p.m.
