The two T-Birds hoops squads come in boasting identical records – the men's and women's teams both lead the Pacific Division of Canada West at 12-2, and are ranked No. 3 nationally.

Both UFV teams come in with 10-5 records, and the men are ranked No. 8 in Canada.

Games at the Envision Athletic Centre run on Friday (women 6 p.m., men 8 p.m.) and Saturday (women 5 p.m., men 7 p.m.).

Friday is "CIS Shoot for the Cure" night in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and Saturday is senior night, as the Cascades celebrate graduating fifth-year players Tessa Klassen, Sheldon Bjorgaard and Mike James.

PRO WRESTLING SHOW COMING TO ABBOTSFORD

All Star Wrestling presents "Blizzard Battle Royale" on Feb. 10 at the Abbey Arts Centre.

The promotion marks the third time for All Star Wrestling in the Abbotsford market, and will feature a 12-man over the top rope battle royale. The winner gets a future shot at the ASW Trans Canada Champion, "Mr. Beefy Goodness" Vance Nevada.

VIPERS WIN TOURNEY TITLE

The Abbotsford Vipers peewee hockey team won gold at a tournament in Armstrong, B.C. last weekend.

The Vipers tied their first game, then reeled off four straight victories to clinch the championship. Along the way, they posted two shutouts.
