McMillan Youth Park is the setting for a skateboarding competition this Saturday.
The event, hosted by LoveBomb and sponsored by play4life, begins at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a free barbecue at 2 p.m. Registration is $10 for beginner riders, $15 for intermediate, $20 for advanced and $25 for sponsored. Participants must fill out and bring a signed waiver form, which is available at play4life.ca.
Proceeds go to support local skate club Abbotsford Skatelife and Ratanak International, a non-profit organization fighting human trafficking.
