Karen Pultz extended a remarkable run of success at the Ledgeview Ladies Amateur on the weekend, winning the event for the sixth time.

Pultz, who plays out of Peace Portal Golf Course in South Surrey, carded rounds of 74 on Saturday and 68 on Sunday. Her performance represented the lowest two-day total in the 34-year history of the event.

Low net honours went to Nancy Chow from Mayfair Lakes, who had a two-day net score of 140 (69-71). Nineteen members from Ledgeview played, and 15 reached the prize table.

The Amateur collected over $1,100 from the raffle and 50/50 draws. The proceeds were donated to Abbotsford Hospice Society's Holmberg House, part of the campus of care being constructed at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
