As the volleyball season nears its end, the province's top youth teams are preparing to face off for a provincial title in Abbotsford and Richmond.
While Richmond is hosting the 17U and 18U competitions, the rest of the teams will be heading to the Fraser Valley for three days of intense competition.
Both boys and girls teams in the 12U, 13U, and 14U divisions are competing for provincial championships at Tradex from April 25 to 28.
The provincials kick off with the 13U Girls teams on Friday morning (April 25), followed by all three of the boys age groups in the afternoon. This same order of competitions will then carry over into Saturday as well.
The event wraps up with the remaining girls divisions on Sunday and Monday.
On the following weekend, all of the 15U and 16U teams will take their turn battling for their own provincial titles in Abbotsford, with the 16U Girls squads kicking things off on the morning of Friday, May 2.
This will be followed by the boy teams in the afternoon, which will be repeated again on Saturday. The 15U Girls teams then wrap up this year's provincials on Sunday and Monday.
Tournament pass prices are $30 per person, with more information available at volleyballbc.org.
