The Abbotsford Pilots open the PJHL exhibition schedule tonight (Friday) at MSA Arena.

Summer is dwindling down, and more evidence of that reality is the Abbotsford Pilots returning to the ice tonight (Friday).

The Pacific Junior Hockey League club hosts its first exhibition game of the 2018-19 campaign at MSA Arena when the Mission City Outlaws come to town. Faceoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Pilots then travel north on Saturday to battle the Outlaws at the Mission Leisure Centre. Game time is at 7 p.m.

Abbotsford concludes the exhibition schedule at home against the Port Moody Panthers on Aug. 24.

The PJHL regular season then kicks off on Sept. 7, when the Pilots host the Langley Trappers.

The team is coming off its annual prospect showcase, which ran on Saturday and Sunday at MSA Arena. The club’s final roster will be determined in the coming weeks.
