Pilots depart for Keystone Cup

Fresh off their thrilling win in the Cyclone Taylor Cup title game, the Pilots hopped on a flight to Saskatoon for the Keystone Cup.


Fresh off their thrilling win in the Cyclone Taylor Cup title game, the Abbotsford Pilots hopped on a flight to Saskatoon for the Keystone Cup on Wednesday morning.

The local junior B hockey club will represent B.C. at the six-team tournament, which decides the Western Canadian championship.

The Pilots open the Keystone Cup on Thursday against the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks, the Ontario representatives. The event also features the host Saskatoon Royals, the Arborg Ice Dawgs (Manitoba), the Traveland RV Storm (Pilot Butte, Sask.), and the Whitecourt Wolverines (Alberta).
