Callum Pilgrim of Abbotsford helped the Fraser Valley Fusion win a silver medal at the recent B.C. under-16 rep A girls fastpitch championship in Victoria.
The tournament brought together 14 teams from across the province, and Pilgrim, a centre fielder, helped her team to the title game, where they fell to the Delta Heat 97.
In other provincial action, Abbotsford native Chelsea Jenner played a key role for the Surrey Storm 95 as they won a silver medal at the U18 championships.
Jenner, a centre fielder who is ticketed for San Jose State University on an athletic scholarship this fall, and her Storm squad made it to the finals, where they dropped a 4-2 decision to the White Rock Renegades 95.
