The Abbotsford 55-Plus BC Games have arrived and activity ramped up significantly on Tuesday (Aug. 22).
Participant accreditation saw more than 1,500 athletes from zones all across the province go through. Participant accreditation continues today at the Ag-Rec Centre.
The Games Village also opened with food trucks, sponsors, local artists and more entertaining athletes and fans.
Tuesday saw performers rehearse for the Opening Ceremony, which occurs tonight (Aug. 23) at Rotary Stadium from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Competition also opened for several sports today.
