Abbotsford will get a sneak peek at Olympic calibre hockey as Norway’s Olympic men’s hockey squad will play an exhibition game against UBC.

The pre-Olympic contest will take place on Feb.10 at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. Tickets will only be available at the venue box office for $12.50 ($15 on game day).

Norway’s best finish at the Olympics came in 1972 when it came eighth.

UBC is made up of mostly of former Major Junior players with 14 players having played their junior careers in the WHL and three in the OHL.
