The Abbotsford Pilots won a pair of games over the weekend, beating the Aldergrove Kodiaks and Squamish Wolf Pack, and maintaining their lead atop their conference in the Pacific International Junior Hockey League.
Friday night they beat the Aldergrove Kodiaks 2-1 in overtime. Kevin Lourens and Riley Lamb scored.
Saturday brought a 6-3 romp over the Squamish Wolf Pack. Pilot players Brandon Nodolny, Daniel Amesburg and Justin Dorey each tallied a goal and an assist.
This Saturday the Pilots host the Mission Icebreakers at 7:30 p.m. at MSA Arena. It will be Subway night, meaning there will be fresh subs to be won, as well as a sub eating contest.
Pilot players will be autographing their hockey cards during the intermissions.
