Colin Miller of Abbotsford has once again been appointed interim head coach of Canada’s national men’s soccer team.

Colin Miller of Abbotsford has once again been appointed interim head coach of Canada’s national men’s soccer team.

Miller will patrol the sidelines for an international friendly against Costa Rica at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium on May 28.

The former Abbotsford Soccer Association head coach had previously acted as interim bench boss for the men’s national team during a spell in 2003-04, and also helmed the team during a January 2013 camp and a pair of friendlies vs. Denmark and the United States.

“I’m the proudest man in Canada, once again,” said Miller.

“We will be hoping to build on the positive way we finished our last camp together with a result away to USA (a scoreless draw).”

Miller currently coaches FC Edmonton, a North American Soccer League side.
