The Pacific Coast Soccer League men's squad from Magnuson Ford Mariners FC picked up a pair of impressive victories last weekend.

The Mariners, coming off a 4-0 win over Chilliwack FC last week, blasted Kelowna United FC 11-1 on Saturday at Bateman Park, and followed that up with a 3-0 triumph over the Penticton Pinnacles on Sunday.

Saturday's blowout win was ignited early, as the Abbotsford squad scored twice in the first five minutes. Justin Sekhon led the charge with an impressive four-goal outing, Zenow Renaerts (2), Tyson Hunter, Grant Fadden, Jess Erhardsen, Spencer Pallone and Paolo Dait also scored.

Mark Village and Tyrone Venhola split the goaltending duties, and each notched an assist.

Against Penticton, Connor O'Neill paced the offence with a pair of goals, while Sekhon rounded out the scoring.

The Mariners continue their Bateman Park homestand on Sunday vs. Chilliwack FC (3:30 p.m.), and they host TSS Academy and Victoria United June 8-9 (both games start at 2 p.m.).
