Magnuson Ford Mariners FC clinched first place in the Pacific Coast Soccer League men's reserve division last Sunday, by virtue of a 5-1 win over West Vancouver.
Justin Sekhon led the charge, notching his league-leading 14th and 15th goals, with Zenow Renaerts, Daniel Davidson and James Najman adding singles. Mark Village picked up the win between the pipes, surrendering West Van's lone goal off a rebound of a penalty kick he'd saved.
The Mariners play their final home game at Rotary Stadium against the Mid-Isle Highlanders on Saturday at 2 p.m., and wrap up the regular season against the TSS Academy at Holly Turf in Richmond on Wednesday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m.
